Place of peace: website
Arjen has been creating electonic music as Tiewrap varying from industrial/electronica to world beat and ambient/lounge lounge. The album Place of peace is a ambient album with some experimental influences. The album's intention is to invite listeners to search for peace and rest he found. A state of peace that's independent of circumstances, even though a beautiful, peaceful place may help to find it.
The challenge was to translate this feeling to a site. That's why it's a out-of-the-box site with full screen images and a small player. For those who are interested there's also lyrics, an 'about' story and some video clips available, while the music will keep on playing. Arjen used CSS3-animation, combined with JavaScript.
