Beach Mission: logo
Beach Mission is een founding who talks with the beach vacation youth about Jesus Christ, founded by Dirk-Jan Boerman (yes, brother of).
It worked out to be harder than expected to design a original yet recognizable logo.
That's not that strange: the word 'beach' is easily associated with sand-yellow, aqua and beach balls. Such cliches are used many times already.
Dirk-Jan wanted the corporate to 'work' with a bright-colored shirt. Such shirts help to be recognizable as a team member. The solution was found in the image of a path through the sea: God ntervenes in situations making a way where mankind does not know how to carry on. Sea is symbolized by an ellipse, the cut through the ellipse symbolizes the path. This logo works very well on a sand-yellow shirt.
